Manchester House, our Memory Care neighborhood, is specifically designed for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Attention to every detail creates the true essence of home, where the past and present come together.
Our compassionate team members embrace a culture of person-centered support that enhances autonomy and independence. Every aspect of our Memory Care focuses on personal preferences. This unique approach to dementia care fosters individuality while honoring your loved one’s personal story with dignity and respect.
At Manchester House, we’re committed to your loved one’s joy and well-being, while providing the structure they need to truly thrive.
Manchester House is a nurturing environment that accommodates up to 18 residents. Your loved one will enjoy a private room and full bath with the freedom to decorate with furnishings, photos and keepsakes to make his or her surroundings comfortable and familiar.
Inviting common areas inspire relaxation and socialization. Much as in our own homes, the kitchen at Manchester House is the heart—where your loved one, friends and family will share in unique and pleasurable dining experiences together.
There’s also a secure courtyard with a beautifully landscaped garden and a walking path to enjoy the great outdoors.
Personalized Music Programs
Beloved music can reawaken the mind and help participants be more social and responsive. Certified music and memory instructors ensure residents have access to the benefits of personalized music, which taps deep memories and enables participants to be happier, calmer and stay present.
Family Support Groups and Educational Services
Families can access essential programs and educational opportunities in collaboration with leading Memory Care experts and an on-site social worker. Manchester House provides up-to-date information about Alzheimer’s and dementia care, diagnosis, treatment, and available services to at-risk seniors, families and healthcare professionals.
When the effectiveness of the programming has reached its limits for your loved one’s specific needs, we offer support to family members who need assistance navigating the options available to them.
