Yes. Assisted Living communities in the Commonwealth of Virginia are licensed through the Department of Social Services (DSS). In addition to being licensed by the DSS, WindsorMeade is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Fewer than 15% of the communities in the nation are reviewed, approved and certified by CARF. We are proud to hold up this seal of approval for our residents and their families.
